The Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity is holding its first ever garage sale to benefit its home repair program. The sale will be held Friday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 6 pm and Saturday, Oct. 29, from 8 to 11 am at the Habitat office in Jefferson, 114 S. Chestnut St.
Habitat will gratefully accept donations prior to the sale, including new and gently used home improvement materials, such as residential doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, bathroom fixtures, lighting,, etc.
In general, all donations must be in good condition for reuse.
All items can be dropped off at the Habitat office between now and Thursday, Oct. 27, at 4 pm.
